Wells Bring Clean Water To Many Households

Water wells, like bridges, classrooms and schools, are unique to the areas in which they are built. Approximate costs for wells in Vietnam are about $120 US which includes the well, pump and a concrete apron. Between 4 and 10 families use each well. They are never for just one family. Each well is named after the donor who gave the money to dig it.

We are updating the site to include small pictures of most of the wells. Here is a sampling of the types of wells that have been dug and are now operating. To date over 300 wells have been dug in all parts of Vietnam.
