Forty million people are infected with HIV/AIDS, 95% of whom live in developing countries. More than a billion people worldwide are living on less than a dollar a day. One in six people are illiterate.
foodaid.compassion is a registered Tennessee non-profit corporation which is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. All donations are tax deductable to the extent allowed by law. Federal ID # 62-1795637

Foodaid.Compassion is web based on purpose. We will mail your year end tax letter but that's it... saves money, time, trees and ink.

Foodaid.compassion is entering it's 7 year as a registered non-profit.

We were started when 2 angel donors said, 'Ok, you are funded and gave us $50,000. Thank you Jessica and Steve.

Based in Memphis, TN, we rent a small 9x10 office for $30 a month from 1st Congregational Church as one of their Partner's In Mission.

 

Storage space for families of patient's at a hospital in Northern Tanzania. Food is not part of staying in a hospital.
